For some reason chemo session seven was a lot tougher than the six preceding sessions. I gained a lot of water weight, losing most of it (14 pounds) by this morning. I really needed someone this weekend to borrow a phrase... I did finish inpatient chemo session seven Friday with visits by my Son in law Sam and Daughter Natalie- then my Dad and his wife Alice, and my Sister Cathy. During these sessions I have seen a lot of people come and go. I used to say I couldn't understand how people could quit, now I am beginning to understand how the process can cause different effects- it becomes personal. I am just fortunate to have had my caring wife Yvonne home this weekend to get me through this process with love and understanding.
Now things are better, I will finish my last session in a few weeks and won't look back. Have a great week, Spring is about to Spring!
Enjoy this Rain (Beatles Tribute) clip- it's very high quality and worth a look if you've never seen them play.

I'm glad you are hangimg in there! Thank God for Yvonme, she's a treasure. I know it's hard for the rest of us to know what you've been through. Unless someone has walked in your shoes. I love yvonne's cheery dispostion. Life is a journey, full of hills and valleys. I'll keep you in my prayers. I'm Glad you are almost done with these sessions, What you will take away is a strength and perserverance that is probably more than you knew was even there. I find my strength knowing that God is bigger than any of life's circumstances, and take what each day brings.

Greg, Enjoy your stay at home. We enjoyed our stay, Love Dad and Alice
Sounds like this was very difficult. I am sorry to hear that. Wish we could make it all go away. I can't imagine the pain and discomfort it all must cause. I hope the pain and bad stuff are receding. Rest and get strong. Only one more to go. You both have been amazingly strong. Know in those sad, weak, and painful moments that you are never alone. The Big Climb is coming and many are thinking and praying for you. And God will take care.
love,
Mary
Thank you Mary- I feel like I was a bit over the top yesterday as I am feeling much better now. Especially after having read your post! :) Now if I could just get the sleep thing to work...
Love, Greg
