My Valentine took me to what was supposed to be a quick doctor appt. yesterday, it just wasn't our day in terms of process as we started at 930 and got home at 230. But it was a great day in terms of lab tests, and hope for the future. My blood numbers are continuing to improve, so is my fitness level. I had a PET scan last Friday; PET scans look at organs and tumors inside a person after an infusion of sugar water and an isotope. The scan reads how the sugar water is attracted by things to see what is growing or attracting the sugar. Dr. Senecal was very happy to report that my results showed my tumors are not active and all of my other important processes are running in tune. Dr. S was unsure what all of this meant, but it was good news- he suspected it would take a lot longer to get to this phase. We are both waiting to hear from the Fred Hutch folks about next steps. I had a feeling that the two rounds of Nelarabine had put me very close to or in remission. I didn't quite get that word out of Dr. S though. So, more waiting for a bit. I am still scheduled for a chemo round starting Presidents day. Happy Valentines day little early, we will be on the road for a little R and R this weekend. Love, Greg

Good news, enjoy yourselves!
You and I are blessed with caring spouses that have seen us at our best and worst and kept loving us. That's a love that far exceeds the romantic type. It's a far deeper love.
Way to go Greggers! Great news, and cool selection for a music video for Valentines weekend! Have a wonderful escape and enjoy every minute of your mini R&R together---you BOTH truly deserve it and more! Hugs.

Yay!! That is wonderful news. Very glad to hear it. And good to hear you are feeling physically stronger, too. Enjoy your Valentines relaxation. You both deserve a good break. Supposed to get to 50 degrees here this weekend. Spring and hope is in the air.

Hey 5-0 "E"
Love the Sedona pic! Still laughing at the "low hanging vegetables!"
Talk soon.
We saw Cathy then went to Lincoln City, Depot Bay and a little bit south of there. Big storm came in so we went to see Mrs. Pohl too.
Good news (I love your honest, eloquent and heartfelt writing) and great song post - usually get my new music from my daughter. Best to you and yours on Valentine's Day.
Storm, one of the best times to see the Oregon Coast. Did you eat at Tidal Raves in Depot Bay ?
Hank, we had lunch there and had fish and chips large and small size. Great view and good food. Back in time for snow last night and crazy weather for the rest of the week. Looking forward to a spinal chemo infusion tomorrow where they will check for cancer in my spinal fluid, then chemo one more time next week.
Still praying
Glad you had a nice time away. I hope everything went smoothly today. Sending energy for healthy cells your way.
Yes I pray that all went well today.
Love, Cathy
My spinal tap and chemo went great. This was number 15, I am close to setting the record... at least in Tacoma and Seattle. I am hoping my last chemo round starts this Monday! I am grateful for the support and prayers as things are really going smooth for me right now. I am off to Seattle and a Big Climb team meeting today, Mikhael is home with us too.
Great news so proud of you, and glad you have so much support!
Love, Les and Cathy

W(ow), another spinal tap. Those are not easy. So glad to hear things are going smoothly. Good you had a getaway to the beach. I think that was one of your mom's favorite places. Here's to feeling positive and strong during this next chemo round. Yes, TKO this thing you will. Rocky Balboa it, fight and comeback.
We're always in your corner.
love and prayers,
Mary D.
(We're preparing for an ice then snow storm here. Winter is not giving up either.)
Greg, great stuff. Sounds like a newer eatery in Depot Bay. Keep the good reports coming . Love Dad and Alice
Time for a new post, I was in Chemo today with mixed results. I feel fine anyway.
I hope you don't get sick from the chemo. I can't imagine what that must be like. We pray for you every day
Love, Cathy
