Welcome to my Blog
I chose the title of this blog to go with a Beatles song from 1969. The title made sense in October of 2009 because fighting cancer might be a drawn out challenge. I take inspiration where I can, and hope to motivate with my musings about music, my status and anything else related to life. Anyone can post comments; no sign in or account is needed, just click on the comments section towards the bottom of the post and write me a note. A splendid time is guaranteed for all. Live Happy- Greg

Greg, so glad to hear you had some contispation and not what you thought. Some things just seem to work out. Love you guys, stay healthy. Love Dad and Alice
Great pictures. Alicia took our camera, her's broke. So I don't know how mine turned out. We will have copies of the photographers when she gets them. She paid extra for the access. I'm glad nothing serious at the ER. Take it easy and heal up.
Love, Cathy
Sorry to hear the trip to Bend was a little rough. Glad to hear you are checking out ok. It was great to see you both and hang out. Hope to do more. We had breakfast at the hotel-thanks for the discount ticket. Then drove to Baker, stayed with some friends, then on to Rock Springs, WY for the night and finally home on Sat. Humid, hot and the fridge ice maker broke down. One p'o'ed Dymerski male.
love, Mary D.
Hi there, sorry about the karma issues, I hope you are back to the activities you enjoy very soon and we are all hoping to meet you. Fall is a beautiful season in New England.
Glad to hear it was nothing major and that they gave you a clean bill of health. Greg! Ejnoy the sunshine and the freedome being out of the hospital during this beautiful weekend!

Mary- I hope the refer fix isn't too costly. With your Midwestern heat you need ice for sure. I wish I could jump in a lake or ocean right now, its a sweltering 83 today! I hope you are home by now Andrei, feeling better?
Greg, be careful out there. :) Here's hoping to a speedy recovery of those bumps and bruises and HOORAH to the good news on the blood counts. Looking forward to a Fall visit and no more FALLS for you!! :) Sick humor...sorry. Cheers! Jackie
Get AC Greg, My house is a very pleasent 65 :-)
Greg-how's the knee today? Okay I hope. As the Tour d'France shows, cycling is a dangerous sport. We were mtn biking on our trail last night and I wiped out, too. Who needs tattoos when you have great scrapes and bruises? Alan is talking a new fridge. Might be time.
I'll go easy on the bike if you will. Enjoy the sun!
Mary D.
No worries about the sun, it's gone for a few days. Thanks for the advice about taking it easy! I am learning to learn my lessons. At least I can walk around, won't be able to swim for a long time- serenity now, serenity now. :)
Curl up with a good book and listen to some great music will get the serenity you need! Sleeping will be good too!! Take care of yourself and Yvonne! Good news on the blood count!! Live Strong!! :-)
Mary, my knee is just in the healing stage (no skin) it will just take a long time. It only hurts when I move!
Just checking in while we are on vacation. Sorry to hear about the bumps and bruises. Glad to know that you are on the mend now. So looking forward to your visit with Edie and Kevin. I look forward to meeting you as well. Stay well. Mary-Beth
Hi Greg,
Just wanted to say hi, and hope the knee is healing well. You'll be back to swimming in no time. It's a chance to catch up on all the good books you've missed out on while commanding folks. Take care; we'll talk soon!
Greg, have you guys ever had a colon check. You are suppose to have one after 50 . Might be a good idea to do that. Love Dadand Alice
G Dog, sorry to hear about your fall. Have you considered calling Phillips/Webster? I am sure there was some negligence somewhere involved in not maintaining that street.

C- are you suggesting that law firm due to your lesser known half brother who is a partner? Kickbacks?
Yes, I did consider becoming one of those litigious Americans who have a tendency to make things more expensive for everyone else... I have not gone to the dark side yet. (I will call the city of Bend and ask them to fill in the pot hole though.)
Colonoscopy (sp), has saved my life, and the worst part of the procedure is the prep. The procedure itself is a snap :-)
I had a colonoscopy about 13 years ago, I am due for another I guess. The good thing about colon cancer is that it takes up to 25 years to get bad.
I was seriously precancerious with my first one and have had 13 or so since.
To go where no man has gone before! Yeah if the situation didn't improve then they might want to do one. I've never had one.
5-0 (E),
Let's hook up for java! I have to tell you about Tough Mudder!
Your niece looked beautiful in the posted picture. I hope you are on the mend - ouch!... that must have hurt. Stay healthy - looking forward to your scheduled trip to Hudson... maybe sit one the couch with a bag of chips and watch a little T.V. :) - no more injuries.
Take care Greg
