Welcome to my Blog

I chose the title of this blog to go with a Beatles song from 1969. The title made sense in October of 2009 because fighting cancer might be a drawn out challenge. I take inspiration where I can, and hope to motivate with my musings about music, my status and anything else related to life. Anyone can post comments; no sign in or account is needed, just click on the comments section towards the bottom of the post and write me a note. A splendid time is guaranteed for all. Live Happy- Greg

Thanks for the early Team support! For full disclosure, I should have also mentioned that this Climb is a fundraiser. So, they want team members to collect at least $50 each in donations. Also, climbers who sign up have to pay $42 (or less depending on discounts.) The fee goes for a Big Climb t-shirt, admin costs, and fund-raising. Train Happy- Greg and Yvonne.

Hey can we join the team in absentia? Would like to have a t-shirt--(Medium and XL) those are great! Should we go to to the website and sign on as team members? Or just donate to the cause instead? (We'll be donating anyway...)
Hope you are feeling good and enjoying life.

Hi Dad D and Alice. To donate go to the above address Greg posted. It goes straight to our team. There is a place you can donate there.Let me know if this goes ok. I hope you are enjoying hopefully sunny California? Is it raining? Yvonne

Mary, we already planned on buying you some shirts. The least we can do. I sent out some e mails to the publicists for Christopher Walken and Will Ferrell today in hopes of even more support- will let you know how that goes.

We are still welcoming team members. My daughter Natalie climbed 69 flights of stairs on a stairclimber yesterday just to see how difficult it would be- it took her 12 minutes... :) Greg
