Welcome to my Blog

I chose the title of this blog to go with a Beatles song from 1969. The title made sense in October of 2009 because fighting cancer might be a drawn out challenge. I take inspiration where I can, and hope to motivate with my musings about music, my status and anything else related to life. Anyone can post comments; no sign in or account is needed, just click on the comments section towards the bottom of the post and write me a note. A splendid time is guaranteed for all. Live Happy- Greg

Sinatra jazzes up Something

Who else could sing one of the best love songs and slip in "you stick around jack, it might show?" The Chairman of the board is the only one. Frank recorded "Something" and also performed it numerous times. He made it his own with a little big band and jazz sound.
I finished chemo session 5 Sunday morning, three to go and am readying to go to work this morning. Let's have a great week!

Hey, hold on here! You are only as old as you feel... Hold on, alright I am open for AARP membership if I choose.

I appreciated Sinatra, but can't hold him up with the Beatles until he starts writing tunes from the grave. We are doing great and hope you and Alice are making the most of sunny San Diego.

So good to hear you finished #5! Over halfway! Hope you are feeling good and holding up okay. And, yes, Yvonne, too. We are thinking of you both.
We're having a heat wave here-- up from below zero to the 40s. Good thing as I have not had any heat in my office for 4 days.
Always loved Frank Sinatra, like the disco, I longed for the cocktail parties I was too young to experience.
Fly to moon and do it your way!
