One more year goes by, John Lennon was gunned down in New York City on December 8th, 1980, ending his life and brilliant musical career. Imagine is considered my a majority of critics and fans as his swan song- so I post it with a message. My message is simple- you can look at the words with a series of tinted shades. I am just concentrating on one word- Imagine. Please imagine what will make things better for you and/or your loved ones without harming others. Then ACT! God Bless all of the sincere who do this every day. For the rest of us, there is always hope in emulating those great examples. Please enjoy the original promoted video :)
Welcome to my Blog
I chose the title of this blog to go with a Beatles song from 1969. The title made sense in October of 2009 because fighting cancer might be a drawn out challenge. I take inspiration where I can, and hope to motivate with my musings about music, my status and anything else related to life. Anyone can post comments; no sign in or account is needed, just click on the comments section towards the bottom of the post and write me a note. A splendid time is guaranteed for all. Live Happy- Greg

A beautiful and hopeful song. And those are the thoughts we all send to you. Yes, Christmas is coming and it is a magical and miraculous time.
Imagining all good things and healing taking over in your cells. Wish we could take all the suffering away from you.
Thinking of you with extra efforts!

Hi Bob, 25 in Phoenix? At least its a dry cold!!! Nice to hear from you. Mike, I am looking around at places like Dana Farber for alternate treatments, thanks for the camaraderie. I am really feeling some good coming from my first chemo treatment in quite along time, can't wait for treatment two today. My son Mikhael just got home from work and is giving Yvonne a break today acting as my care giver and poker partner. I should get results on my bone marrow biopsy (I have the PET scan report already.) The bone marrow is crucial if I am to get back to remission... And Mary, my excruciating pain is already gone after one chemo infusion, that has to be a good thing. Happy Friday!

Hey 5-0 (E)
There's a lot of folks here sending good vibes your way.
I love the Mark Twain quote! I think that one has special meaning for a few of us! :-)
I hope to have lunch soon with you!
Greg and Yvonne, 19 years ago Mom passed away. This is also Lois Donahue's birthday. We wish both of them a great day.Love Dad and Alice
Thanks for remembering Mom's birthday today. We took her our for dinner to China House. My other mom, Glenda Dymerski, would have liked to go out for dinner, too. We are thinking of her today.
Greg, glad you are feeling better. It was a holy day on Thurs., the day we got your email about the pet scan. I went to church and prayed hard for you. We'll keep it up.
love,
Mary D.
Greg, you are a wonderful, amazing man. I love your blog and keeping up with what's happening in your life and with your illness. Attitude is all and yours is great. Let me remind you once again about my friend, diagnosed with a very rare form of lymphoma--no known treatment protocol and less than 25 % survival rate. He has seen his two young children grow into adulthood. They are now out of college and finding their path in the world. I'm so glad to see that you can get out and do some things and can still appreciate your family and the beautiful world in which we live. I am sending as much positive energy your way. Tace care. Happy holidays. And a brighter new year.
Thanks everyone, my mother passed away at the early age of 56 Dec 12, 1992. I will have a remembrance and something special tomorrow. Two days of Nelarabine have not been kind to me, numbness on my face and mouth, and big time in my hands. I am not sure it is the right chemo agent for me at this time, supposed to finish the first "round" tomorrow. I might ask the Dr. for a different poison. Again, more tomorrow.
Prayers
