"Woke up, got out of bed, dragged a comb through my head." My dream fininshed with the act of scratching my head and I knew I was having a dream as there was only a few stubby little stubborn hairs left to scratch. I might have been thinking of a Day in the Life due to being moved to a new room last night as my world was changed ever so slightly. So up to shave and try out part of my costume.
John wrote most of this song and Paul contributed the "got out of bed" part for what turned out to be one of the most critically acclaimed Beatles compositions from Sgt. Peppers and the middle era. It is a song telling the story about a famous person being killed in an accident.
Some good friends came through with two major components for my halloween costume and now its either finding a Nehru Jacket or come up with a wild vintage jacket to complete the ensenble. My doctor showed up in a real costume blowing all the patients away this morning as Jane Fonda workout queen. I hope everyone has a scary halloween that is full of treats and not tricks!
My 26 hour straight chemo just finished and I await some news about blood levels prior to starting the next cleansing flush, then another round of chemo called cytarabine (ara-c).
*My new room is 10-C-2 and the phone changed to (253) 426-4100 ext. 127-1032
PS: Look for another big announcement soon, its a good chance to help the Leukemia Lymphoma Society...

As always you have a great atttitude! That's really important. Paul was a great idea for a costume. Love, Les and Cathy
You look good!!! Very believable indeed my friend!!! :-) I can't wait to see you in full costume, it will be a blast!! Glad to see that you are thinking about fun stuffs and just let the medicine and the doctors work on blasting all the bad out of your system. Your good mood will sure help keep the good cells happy!! :-) Have a goofy day and have loads of fun again!! I admire your courage and your inner strength. Thanks for your posting, I learn a lot about the Beatles and I am now a fan too!!!!!! Thank you! :-)
Thanks early posters Cathy and Alice! I get to take a road trip today and hope to find some buried treasure at the second hand shops of Tacoma. :) G
Excellent costume - love it! Good luck on your treasure hunt today, hope you find the finishing piece. Your positive attitude & humor are inspiring. I'm thinking that medicine probably doesn't do much for your appetite, but if you're hungry I'd be willing to make a run to Frisko Freeze for ya tonight. :) Jodi Hobbs
Enjoy your freedom! Let us know what you find!
Hey handsome my Beatle!I love the outfit! How did you get the picture on from the hospital? I will see you soon. Much love Yvonne
Cell phone camera of dubious quality. At least my hair grew back quick and just like the 1970's!
Jodi, one of my perks here is a decent dinner every night from the gourmet restuarant on site. But thanks for the offer! I am also escpaing for a real lunch today so I will be good. Greg
My network password is "GwBt" with some @#$*! and numbers to it. Everytime I log on, I repeat this to myself, it is "Greg will Beat this!" We will all think the same way and keep our faith. Hope you found what you are looking for at the stores to complete your costume!! :-)
Sounds like all is going well with chemo so far. I like the hair. Maybe I should buy one too. It is getting cold in Arizona. Good luck with round 2. God bless.
Great outfit--you just need some hippie clothes--we should have sent you some. :-) Enjoy the thrift store adventure, you never know what you'll find. I always see lots of old record albums, maybe some Beatles.
We are digging out of 2 feet of blizzard snow from yesterday.
Hope the chemo is going to where it needs to go and you keep feeling strong. A box of surprises will be arriving in the mail next week.
Always thinking of you.
Just came back from having lunch with Mr. Liao Shiquan. He works on the 6th floor here at the Courthouse and he helped the Sheriff's Office answered some overtime questions the council had a few years back. He asked how you, Captain Webster and Scott are doing. I told him about you and he wanted to send you his well wishes. He said that he enjoyed working with you and wish you a speedy recovery! See, you have a lot of friends!! I did not even know you and him had worked together in the past. Have a fun Halloween weekend!!!! :-)

I would have guessed "John". Anyway, I had the Beatle wig, the Beattle boots and the black turtle neck(Meet the Beatles). I was only in the 5th grade. I was hooked. Remember, you and I have a marathon date! Your buddy, 4L0.
4L0- YOU ARE MY HERO. :) Greg
