Good Thursday Morning! I hope everyone has a great Superbowl or some sort of family weekend. I am in a thankful mood today, our Big Climb team has more than doubled our fund raising goal and the team is up to 30 members, the kids are still talking to me, my Sister Cathy http://mylifewithmnd.blogspot.com/ inspires me, and finally thanks to Ted- I can share a great video of an intimate folk song written and performed by singer-songwriter David Wilcox of Asheville NC. Some have probably heard this song as it made it to adult contemporary stations a few years ago. You should check out his website, there is a great music section where you can listen to songs based on mood, how you might be feeling at the time, etc. www.Davidwilcox.com

Welcome to my Blog
I chose the title of this blog to go with a Beatles song from 1969. The title made sense in October of 2009 because fighting cancer might be a drawn out challenge. I take inspiration where I can, and hope to motivate with my musings about music, my status and anything else related to life. Anyone can post comments; no sign in or account is needed, just click on the comments section towards the bottom of the post and write me a note. A splendid time is guaranteed for all. Live Happy- Greg

Greg, you inspire me! I'm so proud of you, and Yvonne, how you have conducted yourself, I never hear you compain. I know God has wonderful plans for you. Congrats again on raising money for cancer research. The amount is even more than anyone could hope for. I hope that someday they find a cure. Your kids should be proud of you, you set a great example with how you are dealing with your situation.
Love, Cathy
Cathy is right Dad & Mom. You are a great examples of how to live and how to turn a bad situation into a positive and inspirational one. Sometimes I think God uses people like you to show the world how people need to act a treat different situations.
You are a very wonderful inspiration to myself and Sam and I find myself loving to talk about you to other people...my staff is so excited to help out in the fundrasing event that I am about to do...it will be really really special.
Thank you.

And for the younger viewers, watching the video on David's website 'What the hell's that noise' might help you understand why us middle aged men love music so much! Congrats on the fund raising and the personal progress so far! Live Strong!
