I felt like talking about Harmony today, hence the Eagles classic "Seven Bridges Road." The photo was taken on the extreme northeast corner of Maui in 2007 of myself and another tourist communicating with the feral donkey's who reside in the countryside there. There might be more than seven bridges on that road... The attached video shows the Eagles circa 1977 (not 2005 like it says) when their five part harmonies were in fine form. At times it seems to me we could all use a bit of harmony to move us forward. It's too bad that people can't come together more often like this video shows is possible. On the cancer front, I am hoping to get a bed this morning to get this fourth chemo session going and over with by Monday or Tuesday. Talk soon- Greg
Welcome to my Blog
I chose the title of this blog to go with a Beatles song from 1969. The title made sense in October of 2009 because fighting cancer might be a drawn out challenge. I take inspiration where I can, and hope to motivate with my musings about music, my status and anything else related to life. Anyone can post comments; no sign in or account is needed, just click on the comments section towards the bottom of the post and write me a note. A splendid time is guaranteed for all. Live Happy- Greg

We keep you in our prayers that the chemo goes well and you will heal. God loves you. So do Les and I. See you in a few weeks:)

The Eagles is a good music selection, always great:)
I want to go to an Eagles concert in 1977. D'oh, guess I can't. Been hearing On The Border and other old Eagles on our local station. Brings back old memories of LP's stacked on the turntable at night and 8-tracks. Kick a$$ on this round!
Thanks Alan, Cathy- I hope I get a room soon! This waiting is a bit of a problem...
I want to go to an Eagles concert in 1977, too. Inflation, lines at the gas pump--everything seemed so much simpler then, especially when you're in 7th grade. Sigh. That Eagles song is one of my favorites.
Sorry to hear you are not getting in to get started on chemo yet. No room at the inn--do we have that many cancer patients?! I hope you can "git er done." And that you keep feeling strong.
Seems we have attracted yet another new stray kittie. Only problem is this one is a big one. The mountain lion seems to still be around. The neighbor had prints at her house this morning. Alan thinks it is hanging out in one of our out buildings.
We'll be thinking of you and keeping you in our prayers.
Greg, great selection. Love those single name groups ,Beatles ,Eagles and Dymerskis.

I actually did see the Eagles around that time in Springfield Mass. Once when Joe Walsh was with them and another time without Joe. Much preferred the Joe Walsh version. Good sounds.
Greg, hope you got a room and are moving forward.

I was able to get into the hospital Wednesday night. Room 10B-7. My phone number is 253-426-4100 ext. 127-1027. Chemo is flowing and I've already had my lumbar needle spinal fluid removal and chemo infusion. Now it's just a bunch of regular chemo infusions until Tuesday. - Greg
Glad you are getting the chemo. I bet you'll be gald to get home:)
Love, Cathy
