Merry Christmas! My family hopes your Christmas is peaceful and quiet. I am feeling much better and taking a break from blood tests for a day. After tomorrow's test I know I will be better and able to do some visiting on the Oregon Coast. This version of the standard Silent Night is done by Sixpence None the Richer, a Christian/soft rock duo (you may have heard Kiss Me or There She Goes.) I am a big fan of singer Leigh Nash's vocals.

Welcome to my Blog
I chose the title of this blog to go with a Beatles song from 1969. The title made sense in October of 2009 because fighting cancer might be a drawn out challenge. I take inspiration where I can, and hope to motivate with my musings about music, my status and anything else related to life. Anyone can post comments; no sign in or account is needed, just click on the comments section towards the bottom of the post and write me a note. A splendid time is guaranteed for all. Live Happy- Greg

Merry Christmas to you as well. We have had a great day.. new mule at the ranch so we have been playing with her all day. It was clear and crisp so the sun felt great.
No snow to speak of which has many worried given the drought over the past years. If no snow soon, there will be no dog sled race and many disappointed people.
Sounds like you get a break from things so I hope you can relax and enjoy..
Happy Holidays!
Linda
I am trusting that the results of your blood test will allow you to make the OR trip. And thanks for this unique way of communicating!
Christmas Peace and Joy,
joel
Thanks for the Christmas comments Linda and Joel. What's the new Mule's name Linda? I will post something (maybe some new pics) upon my return to my computer Monday afternoon, the sun is out and it is not supposed to rain until Tuesday! I know my blood will test better since I feel very good this AM, off to see my family- Greg
Her name is Sophie.. She is a long legged walking machine. However, she comes with a few rules. 1. Do not drag the bridle over my ears.. I will sling my head and get huffy. 2. Don't take my new herd members out of my sight on a ride. I might look like I am facing forward, but I will be riding sideways to get back to my herd mate. 3) I don't like mule skating. If you insist on taking me for a ride in 20 degree temps, stay in the sun and away from frozen creeks. Even if you violate 1 - 3, I promise not to dump you and leave you in a heap on the trail... yet.
Lots of adventures ahead for the two of us!!
Hope you enjoy your time away and best wishes for the blood test results.
Talk with you soon.
Glad you, yvonne and Mikhael could come to the beach. Les and I stayed Mon afternoon for awhile, the weather was sunny and warmer. Ate at Mo's, it was good. Love to you all, Cathy
