Happy Valentines Day! I hope you all have a great day planned as I look out on drip-drip-drip and our typical gray Seattle skies. My way of staying positive is to listen to some upbeat music, look at old pictures, and hope for a break in the rain so Yvonne Sadie and I can go for a nice walk. I couldn't find a good cover version of the song of the day, so the original will have to do. This attached video shows the early Beatles including Pete Best on drums as they sang a live version of P. S. I Love You for the BBC. Paul McCartney was the primary writer of the song in 1961, they recorded P.S. in 1962 as the "B" side to their first single, Love Me Do. Yvonne and I want to send a lot of love to everyone on this special day...
Welcome to my Blog
I chose the title of this blog to go with a Beatles song from 1969. The title made sense in October of 2009 because fighting cancer might be a drawn out challenge. I take inspiration where I can, and hope to motivate with my musings about music, my status and anything else related to life. Anyone can post comments; no sign in or account is needed, just click on the comments section towards the bottom of the post and write me a note. A splendid time is guaranteed for all. Live Happy- Greg
