Howdy y'all. I made it to chemo session 7 of 8 here in Tacoma's St. Joseph's. Our daughter Natalie and son in law Sam are still here, room 10A1. Enjoy a classic 1995 Seattle version of Rain, the Dead and their jam style fills the bill for today. We are due for some rain in the NW this week after a week of sun and mild temps. I wish everyone well this week! Talk later- Greg
Welcome to my Blog
I chose the title of this blog to go with a Beatles song from 1969. The title made sense in October of 2009 because fighting cancer might be a drawn out challenge. I take inspiration where I can, and hope to motivate with my musings about music, my status and anything else related to life. Anyone can post comments; no sign in or account is needed, just click on the comments section towards the bottom of the post and write me a note. A splendid time is guaranteed for all. Live Happy- Greg

Glad they got to you in a timely matter. I bet you'll be so glad to get this over with. See you in a few days

Thanks Cathy. Are you coming Wednesday?
For those who like to look things up my current chemo is cyclophosamide with a mesna chaser. :) Greg
I have way too much time on my hands!
"How It Works-
Cyclophosphamide is an alkylating agent and is related to mustard gas. It causes cell death by interfering with the way genetic material (DNA) in the cell multiplies."
I guess science can benefit from war.
Good cover tune, could always use a longer jerry jam. On a related note I am going to see a jam super group band "Stockholm Syndrome." It happens to be in Steamboat so I'll see that Andrew man also. Look up the band and give a listen!
I Already know about Stockholm Syndrome- Jerry Jeff and the J. M.'s lead singer, some sort of famous guitarist from one of those loud newer groups out there... I will refresh my memory today. They are coming to some Mcmenamins' locations soon. Have fun!
Do you have room for us on Wed?
Love, Cathy
