Welcome to my Blog

I chose the title of this blog to go with a Beatles song from 1969. The title made sense in October of 2009 because fighting cancer might be a drawn out challenge. I take inspiration where I can, and hope to motivate with my musings about music, my status and anything else related to life. Anyone can post comments; no sign in or account is needed, just click on the comments section towards the bottom of the post and write me a note. A splendid time is guaranteed for all. Live Happy- Greg

Saturday Afternoon Looking Good

As many groups covered Beatles songs, Johnny Cash covered Ray Price who covered singer-songwriter Kris Kristopherson's Sunday Mornin' Coming Down.
*I made it home and am feeling much better. We recevied a great Valentine's gift today that I will talk more about tomorrow. Here's to a great Valentine's Day for everybody!

Maybe the only possible benefit from temporary hospital-induced amnesia is that you won't remember how bad the food tasted, gotta love hospital food! Cindy and I will see you and Yvonne at the climb, keep the faith.

Yep, leave the finances to us ladies. While you were out Yvonne and I took a quick trip to Vegas to see the Chippendales. And Alan thought I was in Omaha with my students.

Very sorry to hear about this rough patch. This too shall pass. Hoping you are feeling better. Just sent you something in the mail.
Hang in there and think strong.

G - Funny, the weekend before I went to D.C. for some reason this song got stuck in my head and I was walking down my street signing to myself, "nothing short of dying, half as lonely as the sound, of a sleeping city sidewalk, and Sunday morning coming down." I did not know before today that KK wrote that song. Not surprised. He seems like the kind of guy that has had a few of those Sundays. Cambo.

Any idea when that video was made? It looks like it came from a JC tv show about 1970.
