Welcome to my Blog

I chose the title of this blog to go with a Beatles song from 1969. The title made sense in October of 2009 because fighting cancer might be a drawn out challenge. I take inspiration where I can, and hope to motivate with my musings about music, my status and anything else related to life. Anyone can post comments; no sign in or account is needed, just click on the comments section towards the bottom of the post and write me a note. A splendid time is guaranteed for all. Live Happy- Greg

"Almost Cut My Hair"

In 1970 the Supergroup Crosby Stills Nash and Young released Deja Vu. One of the lesser know cuts was "Almost Cut My Hair" written by David Crosby. The interesting lyric to some of us might be:
"Oh, I tell you baby this increases my paranoia

Yeah, like looking in my mirror and seeing a police car."

Today's song actually goes out to Chief Bryan Howard and the ARFF for setting up a great fund raiser yesterday entitled Greg Dymerski Buzz night. I came buzzed, my brother from Nebraska sent his buzz photo, the Soup Ladies provided a great spread and many people gave financial support to the Lymphoma/Leukemia Society. Some photos attached...More will be on the way.

I am in a new room again, 10C3 Phone number 253-426-6857 ext. 127-1033. Again, there will be more photos. My brother Alan from Nebraska led off the buzz night early after donotating blood to see if he can be a doner for for me- so he graces the top today. Greg

Thank you to Bryan Howard and everyone who showed up and took part in this event. It means so much to me to see all of these people going out of their way for my dad.

Keep the faith baby! I had a busy day looking at apartments with Alicia. A little mother daughter time. It's important to spend time with our loved ones. I hope your tests come out good. Love, Cathy

Greg, It was good seeing you yesterday. I am so glad you were able to show up and watch all of those locks, both long and short, hit the floor. By the end of the event, it was hard to pick you out from all the other newly shorn. I can hardly wait to see John U. on TV sporting his new Greg D. hairdo. I hope this session goes well.
