My heart goes out to the Lakewood Police Department, the families, loved ones and all in the Law Enforcement community this morning. This unbelievable senseless violence has to stop! The only Beatles song that I cold think of to pay tribute today was released on November 28 1968. While My Guitar Gently Weeps is famous of course because George Harrison who wrote it, brought in Eric Clapton to add the guitar solo. The result was another hit and a song that goes down in history as one of the top 100 rock and roll songs of all time. I look at you all and see there there might be love there that is sleeping, I hope it is there for the families and friends of the Lakewood Officers.

I cried this morning when I watched the news. Same as the day I saw the news of 9/11. Terrible loss of precious lives!! I did not turn on the TV all day yesterday, I was alone at home cleaning and cooking like all Moms do. My heart and prayers go to the families of the slain officers! May they find the strength to heal their emotional wounds and know that their Dad and Mom were very much loved and respected by our society!! Please take care of yourself, you must get well again!! I heard something about this last night and this morning on the news and I thought--how could this happen again--more police officers slain in the Seattle area. What is going on? Our thoughts and prayers go out to them and their families. And always to Greg and Cathy and family. Hope Greg is feeling better.
