I hope everyone has someone and something to thankful for today, on Thanksgiving Eve. I am thankful for so much, most importantly my Wife Yvonne. I picked "She Loves You" as my blog song today because of how it relates to my life. The song was the largest hit in England ever for the Beatles and eventually broke through into the USA. It was released in the summer of 1963 before the Beatles came to America. It was considered unconventional at the time due to a jazzy ending and the story being told in third person. I always thought the third person was telling a bloke to "pick it up" since he was lucky his girl still loved him after making some mistakes.
The Yeah Yeah Yeah portion of the song was panned by the critics of the day, now of course the Yeah Yeah's almost define the Beatles. Give it a listen again, I hope it stirs some emotion for the simplicity of 1963.
This video is LIVE, I am guessing somewhere from Scandinavia in 1963-1964.
PS: I am off to the Doctor for a chemo booster and to find out my most recent blood and bone marrow results. I will update later. Have a great Thanksgiving, Mikhael is coming home to join us for our intimate family Thanksgiving this morning.

Hope all the news is good! I'm up early doing some early food prep. We are blessed to have spouses who love us and are there for us! And in my case love me as the whole package. Hoping for excellent results from you doctor and Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! After some long hours at the outpatient center I did get some good news. I was tested for bone marrow last week and my marrow results came back clear of bad cells. Not full remission just yet, but good news all the same. I got a chemo booster that didn't floor me too bad- so off to a bike workout before we start cooking.
One more thing, I will post a separate link later, If you'd like to help raise a few bucks for our local Lymphoma/Leukemia Society, we have a great team of firefighting police officers who are climbing the largest building in Seattle in March. Go to http://tinyurl.com/ycb9dw6 to sign up, sponsor or support the effort. More later...
Eat Happy!

Happy Thanksgiving dad its wonderful to hear the results of the blood/bone work! Stuff yourself today with all of moms food. You need to gain some weight back, at least till you weight more than me again :) I already know whats happening back home while mom cooks, your trying to help, but get lectured you about leaving the kitchen to relax..so take her advise! I am so thankfull to have such great parents and family. I love you and will be praying for you.
Thanks for the help last week it means a lot to me. I had a great time visiting the last few weeks. And everything is just fine over here dont worry Love you
You are welcome Andrew. Hope you had a good dinner from the Hotel. You were pretty much spot on about our dinner! Love, Dad
I watched Paul's Thanksgiving special on ABC. He can still sing really well. I enjoyed it very much, it was fun!! :-)
Lovely photos! You guys look great. Yes, we are all lucky to have such great spouses. We had a nice, quiet Thanksgiving at my parents' house. But wishing we could have all the rest of the family around the table. Though after a spilled pumpkin pie and an exploded potato in the oven, mom probably shouldn't be cooking big dinners anymore. We said our prayer over the food and extra prayers for Greg and Cathy. We all have much to be thankful for.
We love you, ya, ya, ya!
