Welcome to my Blog

I chose the title of this blog to go with a Beatles song from 1969. The title made sense in October of 2009 because fighting cancer might be a drawn out challenge. I take inspiration where I can, and hope to motivate with my musings about music, my status and anything else related to life. Anyone can post comments; no sign in or account is needed, just click on the comments section towards the bottom of the post and write me a note. A splendid time is guaranteed for all. Live Happy- Greg

"Good Morning, Good Morning"

I couldn't help but snap a photo this morning when I saw the sunrise on Mt. Rainier. Of course the song that came to mind was "Good Morning, Good Morning." This is another John song from Sgt. Peppers LHCB from 1967 with Paul playing the lead guitar part. It's not a deep meaning song, just sort of a filler with a good beat and added animal sounds thrown in for good measure. I just had to get this photo out, the photo and song name just worked out! I am waiting to finish one last spinal chemo treatment this morning to be driven home by my son Andrew visiting from Colorado. Have a great morning, and please keep the Seattle Police Dept. family in your thoughts and prayers. Greg

Beautiful picture. We are socked in here with gloomy clouds and chilly rain. And we still have snow at our house. I don't know the Good Morning song--I will have to hear it. Hope you are feeling okay from the chemo. Glad to hear Andrew can be there with you. Enjoy your time together!

Whenever I wish anyone "Happy Birthday" I always include this quotation from the Bible:

May the Lord bless you and keep you; may the Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; may the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace. Numbers 6:24-26
