In the swinging 60's there were many acts competing for the adult contemporary market. Petula Clark burst on the scene in 1964 with the release of Downtown. Her follow up hit was I know a place. There are a couple of catchy lyrics including a reference to Brian Epstein the Beatles Manager that make this a timely tune for today for me. I know a place where Bryan Howard is collecting folks to show support for the Lymphoma/Leukemia Society naming it Greg Dymerski Buzz night. It is being held at the ARFF office, 8190 East Marginal Way South Seattle, WA 98108 Phone: 206-296-7392 from 3PM to 7PM today, November 19th. Session 3 of chemo started well, by the time I make it to Tukwila I will go through another chemo and a hip biopsy for bone marrow disease levels.
There might not be swinging girls and boys or a cellar full of noise, but there will be an atmoshere of its own... Cut happy! See you there around 4PM, Greg
PS: I am in room 10A3 the direct phone is 253-426-6857 ext 127-1013
Welcome to my Blog
I chose the title of this blog to go with a Beatles song from 1969. The title made sense in October of 2009 because fighting cancer might be a drawn out challenge. I take inspiration where I can, and hope to motivate with my musings about music, my status and anything else related to life. Anyone can post comments; no sign in or account is needed, just click on the comments section towards the bottom of the post and write me a note. A splendid time is guaranteed for all. Live Happy- Greg

I pray that the news continues to be good, and that the Buzz will raise money/awareness for Cancer research. Have fun at the Buzz!
Love, Cathy
As an alternative, Bryan set up a website for donations: If you’re not able to
make this event but wish to support a great cause, you can visit:

This fundraiser is part of the King County Charitable Giving Campaign. All donations will go to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and can be accepted at the station.
I have been telling everyone today, I just think that this is so cool. I love you and really wish I could be there for it and for you.
Have a good time...lots of prayers today for your biopsy! Talk to you soon!
Love, Natalie
Thanks Nat. I can't wait to see some action. You can select any of the team members to help support for the big climb, pledging money, etc on their website. For those who can read difficult medical terminology I am taking Cyclophosphamide with a Mesna wash. G
My thoughts and prayers will be with you for a good positive outcome after the medical procedures. There will be loads of "hair" and "fun" at the cut!!!! Everyone will feel they are "cooler" than before after the cut!!!! :-)
I fixed the video if you had problems with it earlier. It's hip and happening at the same time, yeah baby!
Not cold yet but there are little tiny hairs sticking to the inside of my stocking hat, oh my!
Hope the chemo is going smoothly and the test is good news. And hope there will be lots of hair on the floor at the Buzz fest. Uh-oh it sounds like I will be seeing a big noggin when I get home tonight.
Keep up the good vibes and keep the good, old music coming.
Greg, we had a great time offering a small gesture of support. Your courage and determination is inspiring to us all! Keep up the fight brother, we wish nothing but a full recovery for you.
Tomorrow a bunch of people are going to wake up, look in the mirror and say, "Wow, I don't look too bad with less hair!" Others will say, "Gee, I wonder if I should have had the guts to do it?" But most of us will say, "That was a really good time with a lot of friends and an opportunity to say, 'We are in this with you." You are a lucky man to have so many people who just wanted to be a part of your journey. Stay the course!
